In any case, you get used to just simple cup of coffee drink coffee, and now wish to try the new method, then you might like to try out some different ways to make it instead of just drinking it straight. They say a variety of the spice of life so try and be experimental when you make your favorite cup of coffee.
Traditionally coffee is served black or with milk and cream, however you might want to try some other choice and experiment to make your own unique cup. Using some spices can add a totally different flavor to your coffee, such as you could use a pinch of cinnamon just to add a bit of extra flavor which is great for cold winter nights. In our home we are especially fond of using ice cream in our coffee and although this is probably not a morning coffee, it does make a delicious alternative to a dessert or just a nice afternoon treat. You will need to make it using the freshest and strongest coffee beans you can and straight from your coffee machine. Although you can use instant it will not result in the best taste.
Firstly brew your coffee in an espresso machine and ideally you will want to use a strong blend of coffee. If you grind your own beans in the coffee machine then this is even better, but freshly bought ground beans will also be sufficient. Once it has brewed you should leave to cool slightly, best results are from coffee that is just warm and not boiling.
Then take a scoop of vanilla ice cream, although home made ice cream is good, a good quality shop alternative will be fine. Place the scoop of ice cream into a tall serving glass and then add in the coffee, pouring gently into the glass. If you like your coffee sweet then, you may want to sweeten it before adding to the glass. Use brown sugar as this does not affect the flavor of the coffee so much and can actually bring out the flavor. Your ice cream should melt a little but not too much, you don’t want it to melt too quickly and you should still have a solid scoop of ice cream in the bottom of the glass. Next you want to take a can of squirty cream and then squirt over the top of the coffee until you have a nice thick layer. Then sprinkle over some cocoa powder and serve with an after dinner mint or biscuit, although you don’t have to but they are great for dipping.
There are so many ways to make great coffee, but the secret is using only the freshest coffee and brewing it yourself. With the vast amount of great coffee machines now available in the market place there is no reason to have to go to a coffee house to get a great tasting brew and using a little imagination can make your coffee into something very different and very tasty,it is worthy to try!
